Kyung 'Joseph' Lee

MSAOM, LAc

Born and raised in South Korea, Kyung(nicknamed Joseph) became acquainted with acupuncture when he was treated for liver disease at age 19. Once healed, his Acupuncturist suggested he would be an excellent student and practitioner of acupuncture having experienced the benefits first hand. This resonated with Joseph due to his deep interest in helping others.

A few short years later, following his heart, Joseph came to the United States to study under his acupuncturist who had since relocated to California. Discovering he had a natural talent and ability for this healing art, Joseph enrolled in the Masters of Science in Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine program at South Baylo University in Los Angeles. Joseph finished his studies, earned his degree (MSAOM) and in 2007, he received his license (LAc) from the State of California to practice Acupuncture. He continued to work and study under his Master Teacher.

In 2014, after hearing great things about Northern California, Joseph relocated with his wife to Folsom and opened Choice Acupuncture Clinic. Caring deeply about his patients, Joseph is extremely happy to bring Traditional Korean Medicine (TKM) to Folsom and its surrounding areas, knowing personally this method of acupuncture works.
